Spaghetti night made easy with an unforgettable tomato sauce made with a combination of mushrooms, garlic, basil and blue cheese. With McCormick Italian Mushroom Spaghetti Sauce Seasoning Mix, a pasta sauce with the authentic Italian flavor you crave is ready in 15 minutes.

Usage Tips

Total Time: 15 minutes
Makes 5 (1/2 cup) servings

You Will Need: 
1 pkg. McCormick Sauce Mix
2 1/4 cups water
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste*
1 tbsp. oil or butter (optional)
*Substitution: Use 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce in place of tomato paste and reduce water to 1 1/2 cups

1. Stir Sauce Mix, water, tomato paste and oil in medium saucepan until well blended.
2. Bring to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over pasta and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. For thicker sauce: Reduce water to 1 3/4 cups if using tomato paste. Reduce water to 1 cup if using tomato sauce.

Italian-Style Meat Sauce:
Brown 1/2 lb. lean ground beef or turkey in medium skillet. Drain fat. Stir in Sauce Mix, water, tomato paste and oil. Continue as directed. Makes 3 1/2 cups.
