Makes 10 servings
You Will Need
1 pkg. McCormick® Seasoning Mix
2 lbs. lean ground beef or turkey
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs or 1 cup soft bread crumbs (2 slices bread)
1/2 cup no salt added ketchup or tomato sauce (optional)
1. MIX all ingredients except ketchup, in large bowl until well blended.
2. SHAPE meat mixture into a loaf. Place in foil-lined baking pan or 9x5-inch loaf pan. Top with ketchup, if desired.
3. BAKE in 375° F oven 1 hour or until cooked through.
TRY THIS TWIST!
Mini Meat Loaves: Use 1/2 cup no salt added ketchup in place of milk. Shape meat mixture into 8 loaves. Place in 13x9-inch baking pan. Spoon additional ketchup over top, if desired. Bake 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
Pizza Meat Loaf: Add 1 tsp. each McCormick Basil and Oregano Leaves to meat mixture. Top meat loaf with 1/2 cup pizza sauce. Bake as directed. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese during last 5 minutes of cooking. Serve with McCormick Brown Gravy or Mushroom Gravy.
