Makes 2 cups.
You Will Need
1 pkg. McCormick® Original Country Gravy Mix
2 cups cold water
1. STIR water gradually into Gravy Mix with whisk in medium saucepan.
2. STIRRING frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. (Gravy will thicken upon standing.)
Microwave Directions: Stir water into Gravy Mix in 2-quart microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute. Microwave ovens vary; cook time is approximate.
For Creamier Gravy: Use 1 cup water and 1 cup milk.
MODIFIED CORN STARCH, SUNFLOWER OIL, ENRICHED WHEAT FLOUR (FLOUR, NIACIN, IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, AND FOLIC ACID), CORN SYRUP SOLIDS, BUTTERMILK SOLIDS, SALT, CORN STARCH, SODIUM CASEINATE (MILK), SPICES (INCLUDING BLACK PEPPER), MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES (FOR SMOOTHNESS), NONFAT DRY MILK, DIPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, CULTURED WHEY (MILK), SOY LECITHIN, DISODIUM INOSINATE AND DISODIUM GUANYLATE (FLAVOR ENHANCERS), AND CARAMEL COLOR.
1 1/3 tbsp. dry mix (9g)
We love this gravy, but we need a smaller package with just two of us left at home.

Dear McCormick, PLEASE go back to the ORIGINAL formula that you had for this gravy packet. The NEW formula is not at all like the old one. Or at least offer BOTH packages. If you do not, I will have to look at other brands for my Saturday morning Sausage Gravy and Biscuits. We have used your Original Gravy Package for over 10 years. Thank you
