Whether you're craving a quick and healthy meal or looking to use up fresh produce, this vegetable stir fry recipe is your go-to. Our recipe calls for a mixture of onions, carrots, broccoli florets, sugar snap peas and red bell peppers, but with stir fry ingredients, the combinations are endless! Stir fry veggies can easily be served as a main dish with a side of fluffy white rice, or a veggie side dish paired with a main entrée like pepper steak. You can further customize your veggie stir fry by adding in chicken, pork, shrimp, beef or tofu, peanuts or cashews, or sriracha or red pepper flakes for extra heat.   • 1 Heat the oil in a wok or large deep skillet on medium-high heat. Add the onion and carrots; stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the remaining stir fry vegetables; stir fry them for 5 to 7 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • 2 Add soy sauce, garlic powder and ginger; stir fry until well blended. Sprinkle in sesame seeds. Serve over cooked rice, if desired. (Check out our advice for making perfect rice every time!)
