Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare cake mix as directed on package, adding almond flavor. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf or Bundt pan.
Bake as directed on package. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
Mix confectioners' sugar, water and lemon extract. Spoon glaze over cake. Top with sliced almonds.
