Heat up the BBQ - chili dogs are on the menu. Grilled and smothered in French's® Chili-O-seasoned ground beef plus shredded Cheddar, these hot dogs are anything but ordinary.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 package French's® Original Chili-O Seasoning Mix
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 12 hot dogs, cooked
  • 12 hot dog rolls
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Finely chopped onions, (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain fat.
  • 2 Stir in Seasoning Mix, tomato sauce and water. Bring to boil, stirring often. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 Place cooked hot dogs on rolls and top with prepared chili, shredded cheese and onions, if desired. Serve with desired condiments.
