  • 1 can or bottle (12 ounces) beer
  • 4 tablespoons Stubb's® Sweet Mustard Rub, divided
  • 1 package (19 ounces) bratwurst sausages
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large sweet onion, sliced
  • 5 hoagie rolls

Instructions

  1. Mix beer and 2 tablespoons of the Rub in cast iron skillet or disposable foil pan. Bring to boil on preheated grill over medium heat. Add sausages; cook 20 minutes or until cooked through, turning occasionally. Remove brats from skillet. Place directly on grill grates; grill 8 to 10 minutes, turning frequently until browned on all sides.
  2. Meanwhile, add butter, onions and remaining 2 tablespoons Rub to skillet.  Cook and Stir 6 to 8 minutes or until onions are tender. 
  3. Serve sausages on hoagie rolls topped with onions and desired condiments or toppings.
