- Mix beer and 2 tablespoons of the Rub in cast iron skillet or disposable foil pan. Bring to boil on preheated grill over medium heat. Add sausages; cook 20 minutes or until cooked through, turning occasionally. Remove brats from skillet. Place directly on grill grates; grill 8 to 10 minutes, turning frequently until browned on all sides.
- Meanwhile, add butter, onions and remaining 2 tablespoons Rub to skillet. Cook and Stir 6 to 8 minutes or until onions are tender.
- Serve sausages on hoagie rolls topped with onions and desired condiments or toppings.
