Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 400°F. Drain the tofu, then wrap the tofu in a few layers of paper towels. Place a heavy pot or something flat and heavy on top of the tofu and press for 10 minutes, checking halfway through to replace towel if soaked through.
  2. Cut the tofu into 1-inch chunks. Place tofu in bowl and add oil; toss until well coated. Add corn starch, salt and pepper; toss until well coated. Spread tofu in a single layer on a large sheet pan covered with foil or parchment paper, sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 30 minutes or until tofu is firm and slightly golden brown, turning halfway through cooking.
  3. Spoon about 1/2 cup hot cooked rice into each of 4 serving bowls. Divide tofu and place over top of rice. Add your choice of toppings and drizzle with Creamy Sesame Drizzle Sauce to serve.
