  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 to 26 ounces) spaghetti sauce
  • 3 cups cooked short pasta, such as rigatoni, penne or ziti
  • 1 cup shredded cheese, such as mozzarella or Italian cheese blend
  • 1/3 cup Lawry’s® Parmesan Herb Coating Mix
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Brown ground beef in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat.   
  2. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Bring to boil. Add pasta. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes. Spoon mixture into lightly greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle cheese evenly over top.
  3. Mix Coating Mix and melted butter in small bowl until well blended. Sprinkle evenly over cheese layer. 
  4. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through and topping is lightly browned.  

 

Test Kitchen Tips: 

  • Substitute crumbled Italian sausage for the ground beef.
  • Add chopped onions, bell peppers or sliced mushrooms when cooking the ground beef.
  • For a meatless option, just substitute an assortment of chopped veggies for the ground beef.
