- Preheat waffle iron. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and Gourmet Garden Ginger Paste in large bowl. Add buttermilk, eggs and butter. Stir just until combined. Stir in sausage.
- Pour about 1/2 cup batter onto center of hot waffle iron. Close lid. Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until no longer steaming and waffle is golden brown. Carefully remove waffle. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve with maple syrup, if desired.
