  • 4 slices fresh sourdough sandwich bread
  • 1/2 pound thinly-sliced deli pastrami
  • 1/2 cup prepared sauerkraut
  • 8 slices deli Swiss cheese
  • 4 to 6 tablespoons French's® Maple Mustard
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Pastrami and mustard are a classic sandwich combo. Take it to the next level with French’s® Prepared Maple Mustard. Made with maple syrup, it adds a hint of sweetness to balance out salty pastrami.

Instructions

  1. Spread a generous 1 tablespoon Maple Mustard evenly onto 1 side of each bread slice. Layer 2 slices of the bread with 2 slices of Swiss cheese. Top each with about 1/4 cup sauerkraut, then divide pastrami evenly and place on top. Layer with remaining cheese slices and bread. Spread butter onto top and bottom of sandwich.
  2. Heat griddle or nonstick skillet on medium. Toast sandwiches 4 to 6 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melty. Cut in half to serve.
