Instructions
- PREHEAT flat top grill on medium-high heat. Mix ground beef, Mustard, garlic salt, and pepper in medium bowl. Shape into 8 balls.
- PLACE meat balls on hot flat top grill. Smash meat using large heavy spatula or burger press to flatten evenly. Grill 2 to 3 minutes or just until crust forms on bottom of patties. Flip patties and top each with 1 slice of cheese. Grill 1 minute longer, just until cheese is melty and burgers are cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F).
- TO ASSEMBLE, place 2 patties on each roll. Drizzle generously with additional Mustard, and serve with desired toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
Tips:
- Make it with a Mustard Burger Sauce! Mix 1/2 cup mayo, 2 tbsp. each French's® Classic Yellow Mustard and sweet pickle relish, and 1 tbsp. ketchup. Use to top burgers or dip fries!
- Don’t have a flat top grill? Make these smash burgers in a cast iron skillet on your gas or charcoal grill OR use a nonstick skillet on the stovetop!
