Ingredients 6 (1 cup) Servings

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 package ZATARAIN'S® Cheddar Broccoli Rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth, regular or gluten-free, such as Kitchen Basics Chicken Cooking Stock substitution Substitutions available
    • chicken stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 3 minutes or until tender
  • 2 Stir in Rice Mix and stock; bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Stir in cream; cover. Simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese. Let stand 5 minutes before serving
