ZATARAIN'S® Family Size Jambalaya Mix, Original

Creole jambalaya was born in New Orleans in the 18th century when Spanish settlers tried to recreate their beloved paella using Louisiana ingredients. Today it’s a local staple, common from music festivals to Mardi Gras parties to quiet weeknight meals.

And there’s a reason why you’ll find boxes of Zatarain’s Family Size Jambalaya Mix in so many New Orleans pantries: It delivers classic jambalaya flavor and is incredibly easy to prepare. Just add sausage, chicken, ham, seafood, veggies – whatever you’d like to make it a meal. Family Size means six servings per box, 50% more than regular size boxes.

  • Nicely seasoned. I just added some chicken and smoked sausage (didn't have any Andouille) and it made a great meal.

  • New recipe has no flavor. Really disappointed. I understand that they are trying to change the recipes to be free of artificial colors and flavors but they need to tweak the recipe to bring back some flavor. My family was really disappointed as we've been buying and cooking the jambalaya mix with sausage and chicken for about 10 years. We will have to try another brand for now. :(

  • my husband & I are from New Orleans & know what jambalaya is supposed to taste like. We usually love this product, but tonight it was garbage. There was zero flavor & it was like they forgot to put the spices in the package. No flavor whatsoever. My whole meal was ruined. Very disappointing.
