- Where can I find nutrition information for a Simply Asia®/Thai Kitchen® product?
Thai Kitchen® has nutrition information posted on our product pages.
- How long are Simply Asia and Thai Kitchen Coconut products good for once opened, and how should I store?
Once opened, coconut milk/cream can be kept in the refrigerator in a sealed container for 4 days and can be frozen in a freezer safe container for up to 3 months.
- Why is the coconut milk solidified?
Canned coconut milk naturally separates and solidifies, and it is not unusual for a can to sometimes be completely solid or have a “cottage cheese” consistency. This is due to the high fat content of our premium coconut milk and the fact that we do not dilute our product. Changes in temperatures during storage (both in warehouse and in the pantry) can accelerate this hardening. Solidification of this product does not indicate that the product has spoiled. If the product is solid when you completely remove the can’s lid, you can warm up the coconut milk to get it back into liquid form and give it a good stir.
- What is Guar Gum and why is it in Coconut milk?
Guar gum is a natural thickener made from the guar name.
- Is your coconut milk processed in a peanut and tree nut free facility?
The facilities that process our Coconut Milks and Coconut Cream products is peanut and tree nut free, with the exception of coconut.
