Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 packages McCormick® Chili Seasoning Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef substitution Substitutions available
    • ground turkey
  • 2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cans (16 ounces each) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Mix water and Seasoning in small bowl until well blended.
  • 2 Heat oil in Instant Pot on SAUTÉ function. Place ground beef in pot. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until cooked through; drain excess fat. Add water and seasoning mixture. Pour in tomatoes, beans and tomato sauce. DO NOT STIR. Close lid. Set Valve to Seal.
  • 3 Set to cook for 10 minutes on MEAT/STEW function. When done, quick release the pressure. Open the lid once pressure inside the pot is completely released. (Check manufacturer’s manual for safe operating instructions.) Stir before serving.
