Instructions

  • Place acai puree, banana, pineapple, coconut milk and vanilla in blender container; cover. Blend on high speed until smooth.

  • Transfer mixture to serving bowls and top with optional fruit and garnishes, as desired.

    •Acai berries are a considered a superfood. The purple berries grow on palm trees rather than bushes and are similar to grapes in appearance. The tropical fruit, found in Brazil, has a tart but refreshing flavor; a cross between raspberries and blackberries with a hint of dark chocolate. Pureed acai berries can be found in the freezer section of grocery stores as well as local health food store and online retailers.
