- 1 quart strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1/4 cup Cognac

- other orange-flavored liqueur
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Nutmeg
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened slightly
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Toss strawberries, Cognac, Cointreau, orange juice, vanilla and nutmeg in large bowl until well blended. Cover. Refrigerate at least 4 hours
- 2 Beat heavy cream and sugar in chilled medium bowl with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form
- 3 Beat ice cream in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed. Gently stir in whipped cream
- 4 Use slotted spoon to remove berries from juice mixture, reserving juice mixture. Add berries to ice cream mixture; stir gently. Serve immediately with reserved juice mixture spooned over top
