Ingredients
- 2 medium red bell peppers, sliced
- 1 large sweet onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1/2 cup French's® Classic Yellow Mustard
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground chipotle chili pepper
- French's® Original Crispy Fried Onions
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 ADD peppers and onions to slow cooker. Arrange chicken over vegetables. Combine mustard, honey, lime juice, garlic, cumin and chipotle chili pepper and pour over chicken.
- 2 COVER and cook on Low 7 to 8 hours or High 4 to 5 hours or until chicken is tender.
- 3 REMOVE chicken and shred. Return chicken to slow cooker and heat through. Serve over rice or in tortillas and top with Crispy Fried Onions.
