  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 package (14 ounces) Zatarain’s® Blackened Seasoned Chicken Smoked Sausage, cut into 1/2-inch dice
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions (white and light green parts, reserve dark green ends for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, such as Frank's RedHot® Buffalo Wings Hot Sauce
  • 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Vegetable crudités (such as celery, peppers, cucumbers, carrots), to serve
  • Tortilla chips, to serve

  1. In a medium pot, heat canola oil over medium heat until shimmering. Add chicken smoked sausage and cook until browned, about 5 to 8 minutes. Add green onions and sauté until softened, about 2 minutes longer. Add hot sauce, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, half the cheese, garlic powder, and parsley. Reduce the heat to low and stir until melted and smooth, about 2 minutes.  

  2. Preheat the broiler. Transfer the mixture to a 1 ½-quart baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese over top. Place a few inches under the broiler until the cheese is golden brown and the dip is hot and bubbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Serve hot with crudités and tortilla chips.
