- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix 2 tablespoons each brown sugar and Maple Brown Sugar in small bowl. Set aside.
- Mix flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda in medium bowl. Set aside.
- Beat butter, remaining brown sugar and Maple Brown Sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat just until well blended, about 2 minutes. Gradually add flour mixture, beating on low speed after each addition just until combined and dough comes together. Fold in reserved Maple Brown Sugar Mixture, being careful not to overmix.
- Scoop cookie dough by the heaping tablespoon-full onto prepared baking sheet, placing about 2-inches apart. Press to flatten slightly. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks.
