- Mix mayonnaise, mustard and Seasoning in small bowl; set aside.
- Spread butter evenly on 1 side of each slice of bread. Place 4 slices of the bread, buttered-side down, on clean cutting board or work surface. Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly onto each slice. Divide Gruyere cheese evenly among bread slices, then layer evenly with American cheese. Top each with remaining 4 slices of bread, buttered-side up.
- Heat large nonstick skillet or griddle on medium heat. Working in batches as needed, place sandwiches in skillet. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 6 to 8 minutes per side or until evenly lightly browned and cheese is melty. Cut in half to serve.
