  • 1 large onion, finely diced
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef - Substitutesground lamb
  • 3 teaspoons Gourmet Garden™ Garlic Stir-In Paste
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Mint
  • 3 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Cumin
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Smoked Paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Saigon Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Chili Powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt flakes
  • 3/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Cracked Black Pepper

  • 4 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon water

  1. For the Lamb Koftas, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Once hot, add onions and cook until translucent, about 2 to 3 minutes. Allow to cool. Transfer to large bowl. Add remaining kofta ingredients. Mix well to ensure even distribution of ingredients. With damp hands, divide the meat into 12 equal pieces. Thread and mold the meat onto each skewer. To cook, heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook in batches for 5 to 6 minutes, turning regularly to brown evenly.
  2. Mix all ingredients for the Zesty Garlic Sauce in medium bowl, whisking until well blended. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil on top.
  3. Serve kofta with zesty garlic sauce, warmed flat or pita breads, hummus and olives.
