Crispy Spicy-Glazed Grilled Wings
Made With:
The secret to getting these whole wings perfectly crispy and flavorful on the grill without a drop of oil is using French’s classic yellow mustard binder, which naturally tenderizes the chicken and creates a flawless "glue" for our smoky garlic seasoning. The entire flavor profile is then taken to the next level with a rich, caramelized glaze powered by French’s spicy brown mustard. As it hits the grates, the honey and brown sugar blend into a sticky, glossy lacquer that balances sweet and bold notes perfectly—transforming a simple backyard favorite into a mouthwatering, flavor-packed experience. Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium heat. Pat wings dry with clean paper towels. Coat wings with Classic Yellow Mustard in large bowl.
- Mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and black pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle on wings, tossing to coat evenly.
- Meanwhile, for the Glaze, whisk Spicy Brown Mustard, honey, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. Reserve 1/3 cup for serving.
- Grill wings for 20 to 25 minutes, turning every 7 to 8 minutes. During the final 10 minutes of cooking, generously brush the remaining Glaze on all sides of wings. Flip frequently so the glaze bubbles up and caramelizes without burning. Remove from heat when the internal temperature hits 175°F.
- Place hot cooked wings on serving platter. Drizzle with reserved Glaze.
