Everything you need to create this sweet-tart holiday staple goes into one pot – cranberries, an orange and sugar. Add a McCormick® cinnamon stick and bay leaves, and let it simmer. Big on convenience and flavor, this recipe will have you counting down the days to next Thanksgiving before the meal is even over.
Place all ingredients in 4-quart slow cooker. Cover.
Cook 3 hours on HIGH, stirring every hour. Uncover. Stir well.
Cook, uncovered, 30 to 45 minutes longer on HIGH or until slightly thickened.
Was the best I ever tasted, I will always cook my cranberry sauce in a crockpot. I will tell my family and friends as well. No mess and little clean up. Thank you McCormick.

I made this today for Thanksgiving to serve with smoked quail. The savoriness of it went really well with the smokiness of the birds. I don't think that the bay leaf and cinnamon would have integrated as well on the stove. Plus, I didn't have to take up a burner with a pot to cook it. I should have used a bit more sugar - not the recipe's fault - I didn't measure. Definitely will make again.
