Ingredients 6 (3/4 cup) Servings
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest
- 3 McCormick® Bay Leaves
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups couscous
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 2 minutes or until softened. Add lemon zest and bay leaves; cook and stir 30 seconds. Add water and salt. Bring to boil.
- 2 Stir in couscous. Cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes or until all of the water is absorbed. Remove bay leaves. Drizzle with lemon juice. Fluff couscous with fork before serving.
