  • 3/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Thyme Leaves
  • 1 1/4 pounds thin carrots, trimmed and peeled

  1. Place water, butter, salt, and pepper in large skillet; bring to simmer on medium heat. Remove from heat. Add carrots, arranging in a single layer. Cover and let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Return to heat. Cook on high, uncovered, to return to simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until most of the water has evaporated and carrots are very tender.
  3. Add thyme leaves, tossing gently to mix. Cook, turning carrots often, until water has evaporated and carrots are glazed, about 5 minutes.
