  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/8 teaspoon McCormick® Sea Salt Grinder
  • 1 pound fresh rhubarb (4 to 6 stalks), sliced 1/2-inch thick
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon fresh orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
  • Crisp Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold salted butter, cut into chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. For the Filling, mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients, tossing to mix well. Spoon mixture into lightly greased 2-quart (9-inch square) baking dish.
  2. For the Topping, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle evenly over fruit.
  3. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
