- Mix flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low speed until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Cover and refrigerate dough at least 2 hours, or up to overnight. When ready to scoop and bake, remove from refrigerator and let stand 10 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Scoop dough using a #40 cookie scoop (about 2 tablespoons). Place rounded scoops about 3 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheets.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly on the edges browned. Cool on baking sheets 1 minute. Sprinkle with sea salt, if desired. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
