  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Onion Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Whole Celery Seed
  • Broccoli Salad
  • 8 cups broccoli florets, trimmed and cut into bite-size pieces (about 2 to 3 heads broccoli)
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup shelled sunflower seeds
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

  1. Whisk all ingredients for Dressing in large bowl. 
  2. Add Broccoli Salad ingredients, stirring to mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.  

 

Test Kitchen Tips:  

  • For more tender broccoli and bright green color, blanch broccoli florets in boiling water 30 seconds. Immediately rinse with cold water and pat very dry before preparing salad. 
  • Swap in cauliflower in place of half the broccoli.
  • Sprinkle with additional crumbled bacon and Cheddar to serve, if desired.
  • Toast sunflower seeds for an extra pop of toasty flavor. Also, great with toasted chopped pecans or walnuts.
