  • 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak - Substitutesribeye or boneless short rib
  • 3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce - Substitutessoy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon McCormick® Korean Style Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons McCormick® Sesame Seed
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Place beef in freezer 20 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients in small bowl. Reserve 2 tablespoons marinade; set aside. 
  2. Cut beef against the grain into 1/4-inch-thick strips. Place beef in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well.
  3. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Remove steak from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade. Thread beef in zig-zag fashion onto skewers.
  4. Broil or grill over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until desired doneness, basting halfway through with reserved marinade.   
  5. Serve over hot cooked rice. Garnish with additional thinly sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
