- Preheat oven to 400°F. Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions and cook 4 minutes until onions softened. Add garlic and cook 1 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in Seasoning Mix, diced tomatoes, bean and chiles. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
Tip: Let chili simmer for up to 1 hour to thicken and for flavors to develop.
- Arrange tortilla chips in single layer on large shallow foil-lined baking pan, spreading to cover pan completely. Top chips with meat mixture. Sprinkle evenly with cheese. Repeat for 2 to 3 layers.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with sour cream and additional diced chiles, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
