Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer on 375°F for about 3 minutes. For the Fritters, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, Apple Pie Spice, and salt in medium bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk egg, apple cider, milk, vanilla and melted butter. Add cider mixture to flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Gently stir in apples.
  2. Carefully line air fryer basket with parchment paper. Spray parchment with no-stick cooking spray. Working in batches as needed, scoop about 1/4-cup of batter per fritter onto parchment in air fryer, spreading to flatten slightly into rounds, leaving about 1-inch of space around each fritter. Spray tops lightly with no-stick cooking spray.
  3. Air fry at 375°F for 6 to 8 minutes. Flip fritters and spray lightly with cooking spray. Air fry 3 to 5 minutes longer or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Whisk all ingredients for the Glaze in small bowl until well blended. Cool fritters 3 minutes, then dip in glaze to coat tops. Place on wire rack to allow glaze to set. Repeat steps with remaining batter and glaze. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Test Kitchen Tip: Sprinkle Fritters with your favorite McCormick® Finishing Sugar to serve. Try it with Maple Brown Sugar, Salted Caramel, Spiced Orange, or of course, Apple Cider Finishing Sugar.
