A seafood boil is a South Louisiana tradition and crabs are a favorite any time of the year. Start with Zatarain’s Crawfish, Shrimp & Crab Boil and you can’t go wrong.
3 quarts water
1 package ZATARAIN'S® Crawfish, Shrimp and Crab Boil - In a Bag
1/4 cup salt
1 lemon, quartered
1 dozen crabs
Bring water, Crab Boil Bag, salt and lemon to boil in large saucepot.
Place crabs carefully in liquid. Return to boil.
Boil crabs vigorously for 5 minutes. Let stand 15-20 minutes before removing crabs from liquid.
Test Kitchen Tip: To make crabs easier to pick, add 2 tablespoons vinegar to water.
