- 1 quart water
- 3 pieces Thai Kitchen® Galangal
- 2 stalks lemongrass
- 3 regular-size black tea bags
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup Thai Kitchen® Thai Kitchen® Unsweetened Coconut Milk
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 BRING water, galangal and lemongrass to boil in saucepan. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- 2 ADD tea bags. Steep for 20 minutes. Strain mixture to remove galangal, lemongrass and tea bags. Add sugar; stir to dissolve.
- 3 MIX sweetened condensed milk and coconut milk in small bowl until well blended. To serve, pour 1 cup tea mixture over ice in 4 tall glasses. Stir 2 tablespoons milk mixture into each glass until well blended.
