Summertime Slaw

A favorite coleslaw with just the right amount of seasoning!

Serves: 6
Serving Size: 2/3 cup

  • Mix mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, celery seed, ground mustard and seasoned salt in large bowl. Add coleslaw mix; toss to coat well. Cover.

  • Refrigerate 2 hours or until ready to serve. Stir before serving.

Cooking tip

Vanilla Slaw: Prepare as directed. Omit celery seed and ground mustard. Stir 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract into mayonnaise mixture.

    Love this! This recipe is close to a recipe my Mom used when I was growing up and I've used for over 40 years, the difference that I see, our recipe we used was minus the salt. Cole Slaw is no longer just a side dish either. Try topping you grilled hamburger, hot dog, pork or turkey sausage with Cole Slaw! And don't fuss me Marylander's, but, even try it on your crab cake, for a can just do mustard anytime. Yum! Winner-winner, it's no longer just chicken dinner!
