A twist on the classic caramel apple, these little pops pack salty caramel and fruity flavor into one scrumptious bite. Use cotton candy grapes for an extra burst of sweetness.
Spear each grape with a toothpick. Set aside.
Microwave caramels and cream in small microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after every 30 seconds.
Dip each grape into melted caramel, allowing excess caramel to drip off. Place grapes on wax paper-lined tray. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt grinder. Refrigerate until caramel is set.
Test Kitchen Tips:
• Cotton Candy grapes are plump, seedless green grapes that have an initial burst of cotton candy flavor with a lingering mild, juicy sweetness. They are available from August to September, and can be found in the produce section of some groceries or online specialty stores.
• Green or red seedless table grapes may be substituted for the Cotton Candy grapes.
• If caramel gets too thick while dipping grapes, microwave 5 to 10 seconds or until melted. Stir before dipping.
