Salted Caramel Dipped Grapes

A twist on the classic caramel apple, these little pops pack salty caramel and fruity flavor into one scrumptious bite. Use cotton candy grapes for an extra burst of sweetness.

  • Spear each grape with a toothpick. Set aside.

  • Microwave caramels and cream in small microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after every 30 seconds.

  • Dip each grape into melted caramel, allowing excess caramel to drip off. Place grapes on wax paper-lined tray. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt grinder. Refrigerate until caramel is set.

• Cotton Candy grapes are plump, seedless green grapes that have an initial burst of cotton candy flavor with a lingering mild, juicy sweetness. They are available from August to September, and can be found in the produce section of some groceries or online specialty stores. 

• Green or red seedless table grapes may be substituted for the Cotton Candy grapes. 

• If caramel gets too thick while dipping grapes, microwave 5 to 10 seconds or until melted. Stir before dipping.
