- 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, drained, 1/4 cup liquid reserved
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3/4 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cayenne Red Pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- McCormick® Paprika
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Place chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, cumin garlic, salt and red pepper in food processor; cover. Process until smooth, scraping down sides as necessary. Add reserved chickpea liquid; process until smooth. Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 days.
- 2 To serve, drizzle hummus with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika. Serve with warm pita wedges or pita chips.
