A Southern backyard favorite, try this classic boiled shrimp recipe with corn, onions, mushrooms and red potatoes. You’ll need Zatarain’s Concentrated Shrimp Crab Boil or In a Bag. For easy cleanup, line your table with newspaper or a garbage bag so everyone can enjoy peeling and eating.
2 quarts water
2 pounds large (21 to 30 count) shrimp with shells
2 teaspoons ZATARAIN'S® Concentrated Shrimp and Crab Boil
Bring water and salt to boil in large saucepot.
Stir in shrimp and Crab Boil. Return to boil; cover. Cook 2 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Remove from heat. Let stand 2 minutes. Drain well.
Test Kitchen Tip: Add in 2 tablespoons of salt with the shrimp as well, if desired.
Substitution Tip: Use 1 package of ZATARAIN'S® Crawfish, Shrimp and Crab Boil - In a Bag instead of the concentrated boil.
