For best flavor, season the steak and let stand 30 minutes before grilling. If you’re in a rush, go ahead and grill the steak immediately – it will still have great smoky flavor from the paprika.
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon McCormick Gourmet™ Paprika, Smoked
1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Garlic Powder, California
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Sicilian Sea Salt
1 1/2 pounds skirt steak
1 cup chopped seeded cucumber
1/2 cup quartered cherry tomatoes
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
1 teaspoon grated lime peel
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
For the Smoked Paprika Steak, mix lime juice, smoked paprika, garlic powder and sea salt in small bowl. Rub steak with seasoning mixture. Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor.
Meanwhile, for the Tomato & Cucumber Salad, toss all ingredients in medium bowl. Cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Grill steak over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve steak with Tomato & Cucumber Salad.
