Ingredients
- Sake Miso Marinated Steak
- 1/4 cup miso
- 1/4 cup sake, (Japanese rice wine)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Peppercorn Melange, crushed
- 1 1/2 pounds New York strips steaks, 3/4-inch thick
- Peppercorn Dipping Sauce
- 1/3 cup sake
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Peppercorn Melange, crushed
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 For the Steak, mix all ingredients except steaks in small bowl. Place steaks in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours. Remove steaks from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade
- 2 Meanwhile, for the Dipping Sauce, mix sake, soy sauce, honey and crushed peppercorn mélange in small bowl. Stir in green onions. Set aside
- 3 Grill steaks over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Slice steaks and serve with warmed Dipping Sauce
