Cranberry Apple Bake

A warm hint of allspice is the special secret ingredient in this dessert that’s perfect for fall or holiday celebrations.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. For the Filling, mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and allspice in large bowl. Add apples, cranberries, walnuts and raisins; toss to coat well. Spread mixture evenly in bottom of buttered 13x9-inch baking dish. Set aside.

  • For the Topping, mix flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl. Add butter, milk, egg and vanilla; beat with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Spoon batter evenly over fruit mixture.

  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until topping is brown and a toothpick inserted in center of topping comes out clean. Serve warm.
