Prep Time: 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS

1 bottle (about 8 ounces) white glue
McCormick® Assorted Food Colors and Egg Dye or McCormick® Assorted NEON! Food Colors and Egg Dye
Plastic container with lid
1 cup liquid starch

DIRECTIONS

1. Mix glue and food color in disposable plastic container.

 

2. Stir in starch a little at a time. Keep stirring until mixture looks rubbery like putty. Knead 5 to 10 minutes to achieve good consistency.

 

3. Stir in more starch if it is too runny. Store in an airtight container.

Tips

Test Kitchen Tips:

  • Liquid starch may be found in Arts & Crafts supply stores and some grocery stores.
  • If you have extra liquid after kneading, pour it off and lightly blot putty with paper towel.
  • To avoid stained hands, wear latex gloves.
