Salmon cakes are quick and easy to make with OLD BAY Salmon Classic Cake Mix. Enjoy great taste plus the health benefits of eating salmon.
1 can (14 3/4 ounces) salmon
OR 1 pound salmon fillets, cooked
1 package OLD BAY® Salmon Classic® Cake Mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
McCormick® Original Tartar Sauce for Seafood
Drain can of salmon or use cooked salmon. Remove skin and bones. Flake salmon.
Mix Classic Mix and mayonnaise in large bowl. Add salmon; toss gently until well mixed. Shape into 5 patties.
Broil or fry 5 minutes per side or until golden brown, turning once. Serve with tartar sauce, if desired.
Stir 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped, or 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion into salmon mixture. Use reduced fat mayonnaise to save 10g fat and 86 calories per serving.
