Tailgaters can make this barbecued beef ahead and take it to the big game. Serve on a bun with your favorite coleslaw or potato salad.
2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
2 tablespoons McCormick® Grill Mates® Barbecue Seasoning
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Mustard, Ground
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Black Pepper, Coarse Ground
Brown ground beef in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
(Amount per serving)
This is not barbecue.
Barbecue involves SMOKE. You can call it barbecue-flavored, but it isn't 'cue unless you've used a slow smoker and wood. Grilling doesn't count!
Please re-name this dish. I'd suggest "Barbecue Flavor Sloppy Joes".
