Zesty Meat Marinade

McCormick® Meat Marinade Seasoning Mix is a quick 15 minute marinade that makes your meat tender and flavorful.

  • Pierce less tender cuts of meat, such as chuck, round, flank or skirt, with a fork. Do not pierce more tender cuts, such as sirloin, top loin, tenderloin, rib or rib-eye.

  • Mix Seasoning Mix, oil, lemon juice and lemon peel in glass dish. Add meat; turn to coat well. Cover. Marinate in refrigerator 15 minutes. Remove meat from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.

  • Grill, broil or roast until meat is cooked through or until desired doneness.

Cooking tip

Italian Meat Marinade: Use 1/4 cup red wine in place of the lemon juice. Omit lemon peel. Add 1 teaspoon McCormick® Italian Seasoning.

Herbed Meat Marinade: Use 2 tablespoons vinegar and 1 tablespoon water in place of the lemon juice. Omit lemon peel. Add 1 teaspoon McCormick® Thyme Leaves, Oregano Leaves or Rosemary Leaves.
