A clear almond flavored extract.
Almond White Chocolate Chunk Cookies
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened1 1/2 cups sugar 2 eggs1 1/2 tsp. McCormick® Pure Almond Extract2 1/4 cups flour1 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp. salt8 ounces white baking chocolate, coarsely chopped1 1/3 cups slivered almonds (6 oz.)
BEAT butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs and Extract; beat until well blended. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually beat into butter mixture until well mixed.
STIR in chocolate and almonds. Drop by heaping tablespoons 1-inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE in preheated 375°F oven 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove from baking sheets. Cool on wire racks.
Makes 72 cookies.
