Serve the sweet-tart strawberries in dessert dishes or spoon over pound cake or over ice cream.
Mix sugar, balsamic vinegar and cornstarch in small saucepan. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring frequently. Stir in pepper. Reduce heat to low; simmer 2 minutes or until syrup begins to thicken
Divide strawberries among dessert dishes. Drizzle syrup over top
