Ingredients 3 (1 cup) Servings

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 package ZATARAIN'S® Cheddar Broccoli Rice
  • 1/2 cup French fried onions

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add mushrooms and garlic; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
  • 2 Stir water, milk and Rice Mix into skillet. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff rice with fork before serving. Sprinkle with French fried onions.
