INGREDIENTS
Ingredients
- 4 (10oz.) sirloin steaks
- 2 tablespoon of Stubb’s Steak Spice Rub
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 shallots, thinly sliced
- 1 cup of Merlot
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoon Stubb’s Texas Steakhouse Marinade
- 1 tablespoon of butter
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Prepare your grill to medium heat. Rub the steak with Stubb’s Steak spice rub, pressing the rub into the meat. Let the meat rest with the rub while you prepare the sauce.
- 2 Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a medium sauce pan set over medium-high heat. Add the shallots and sauté until lightly caramelized (around 5 minutes). Add the wine, bringing the temperature up to high until reduced by half. Add the Texas Steakhouse Marinade, beef broth and butter and reduce heat to low while you finish the steak.
- 3 Place the steak in the center of your grill and cook for 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust the time to your preference). Let the meat rest for 5 minutes after removing from the grill in order to reabsorb the juices. Serve with the sauce over the top.
